I originally purchased this as a project car to learn how to change a clutch, at the time the clutch was worn and slipping. I have successfully changed the clutch and supporting components and am looking to sell the car now. The power steering rack was leaking at the time as well and has been replaced.
Runs and drives well for 245k miles. Since replacing the clutch I have put roughly 2k miles on it with no issues, it starts right up and drives nicely.
Good:
- New clutch
- New slave cylinder (new fluid as well)
- New rear main seal
- New axles
- Rebuilt power steering rack (new fluid as well)
- New front brake pads and rotors
- New axle seals
- Lots of tread on tires
- Interior is in decent shape
Bad:
- Clear coat on hood is peeling
- Small various dents in a few places
- CD player doesn't hold CD's (cassette deck still works though!)
- Suspension is old and could be refreshed (car still handles and drives well)
Ugly:
- Needs a new catalytic converter to pass smog. This appears to have been stolen at some point in the past and needs to be replaced with the correct replacement cat.
- Currently registered as non-op due to the cat issue to not accrue back fees
- Only one cupholder
