Small glass shop is downsizing our fleet. I have 3 trucks available.
A. 2007 F-150 - 221,000 Miles, Extended Cab, Short Bed, Aluminum Glass Rack with (4) stanchions and ladder rack over cab. Work truck. Interior is in very rough condition, drivers seat is worn/holes. No A/C, No Heat. Good tires. Good engine and trans. Lots of service records. Intermittent fuel gauge issue. Steel job-box bolted in bed. Windshield has a crack that runs out - not in drivers field of vision.
B. 2008 Silverado - 253,000 Miles, Extended Cab, Short Bed, Aluminum Glass Rack with (4) stanchions and ladder rack over cab. Work Truck, Interior is in moderate condition, drivers seat re-upholstered. AC works. Good engine/trans. Lots of service records. Glass rack is bent on passenger side - could be straightened, straight enough for wood, windows/doors and tempered glass, not for annealed. Steel job-box bolted in bed.
C. 2004 F-150 Heritage - 216,000 Miles, Regular Cab, Long Bed, Steel glass rack 6' long with extension to 8' on passenger side. Cab-over, bumper supported ladder rack (good for very long material). NO Job Box. NO A/C. Re-upholstered bench seat. Crank windows/manual locks. Drivers door lock broken - passenger side works.
All 3 trucks have been in this company for 10+ years. Service performed as needed, with regular oil changes at a mechanic (not jiffy-lube!). These trucks have been making money for us for a long time, but it's time for them to make money for someone else.
I would consider selling "just" the truck, without job-box or glass rack. It will depend on the price I'm getting for the truck, as it will cost me labor to remove the accessories and store them until they sell. I would also consider selling "just" the glass racks, but they should be seen/inspected prior to making offers.
All 3 trucks pass smog, and have decent tires/brakes. Safety is paramount, and these trucks are driven to jobsites all over San Diego on a regular basis.
