Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Certificate Processor to join our growing commercial insurance brokerage team. The Certificate Processor plays a critical role in the client service process by issuing, reviewing, and managing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) in accordance with client, carrier, and regulatory requirements.

This position requires strong administrative and communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to accuracy and timely service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process, issue, and manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for commercial clients, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Review client requests, insurance policies, and certificate holders’ requirements to determine appropriate coverage and endorsements to reflect on certificates.
- Communicate with clients, producers, account managers, underwriters, and certificate holders to clarify certificate details or resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
- Track and follow up on certificate requests, renewals, endorsements, and expirations as necessary.
- Assist with reviewing and processing third-party certificate requests, including vendor and subcontractor COIs, for compliance with insurance requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of certificates to all relevant parties.
- Support commercial lines team with general administrative tasks, including document processing, scanning, filing, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or processing role within an insurance brokerage or related industry.
- Experience with commercial insurance, including General Liability, Auto, Workers' Compensation, and Umbrella coverage.
- Strong understanding of Certificates of Insurance, ACORD forms, and insurance terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
