Up for sale I have a pair of matching Almatec AP-series aluminum electrical cabinets which carry an IP54 environmental protection rating. These cabinets are in excellent condition and were manufactured in Switzerland in 2008. They are very high quality!
These cabinets are identical, and were removed from a pair of factory automation robots that were dismantled before ever being used.
They measure 57.5" tall, 11.75" deep, and 20.25" wide. Both have back plates with DIN-rail installed as well as Panduit cable organizing trays as pictured. They have two front vents on the doors, one with just a filter and the other with a powered fan.
There are grommets installed on one end along with several through holes, and several through-holes on the other end as well. The sides and back have no penetrations. The doors have a hole each for a safety cutoff switch which has been removed. All of the holes could be easily plugged if you don't need them.
These would be excellent for a DIY powerwall, solar installation, or if you're building any sort of automation system and need a secure, environmentally protected cabinet which you can install your components into. Because these are aluminum cabinets, you don't have to worry about rust even if the blue paint eventually wears off, and they are MUCH lighter than comparable steel or stainless steel versions.
Almatec says they can be mounted on walls, on Unistrut mounts, or even bolted directly to the floor.
New they're well over $1k each. I'm listing them for $400 each, or just $600 for the pair if you buy both.
