DP Glass Co. is a growing commercial glazing contractor specializing in storefront and curtain wall systems throughout Southern California. We’re looking for experienced field leaders and high-performing glaziers who take pride in quality work, professionalism, and getting projects done the right way.
We value long-term team members, promote from within, and provide a stable, year-round workload with a strong culture of accountability, safety, and craftsmanship.
Open Roles (3 Experience Levels)
1) Journeyman Glazier
You’re a self-sufficient glazier who can be trusted to install correctly, work cleanly, and represent the company well on-site—without needing babysitting.
What you’ll do
Install storefront, curtain wall, entrances, hardware, glass, and related systems
Read plans/details and execute work to spec
Layout, measure, cut, drill, set, seal, and finish with high quality
Coordinate with foreman for daily goals and materials
Maintain safe practices, clean work areas, and protect finished product
2) Foreman (Runs Projects + Leads Crews)
You’re a jobsite leader who owns the daily plan, productivity, safety, and quality—driving work forward and keeping the crew aligned with schedule and expectations.
What you’ll do
Lead a crew on active jobs and run day-to-day field execution
Plan manpower, sequence work, and coordinate deliveries/material staging
Ensure installation quality, safety compliance, and jobsite professionalism
Communicate with GC supers/foremen and DP Glass PMs
Track production, report issues early, and help solve field constraints
Train and mentor glaziers, keep standards high, prevent rework
You’re responsible for multiple jobs, managing foremen and ensuring our field operations are executing at a high level. You’re proactive in preconstruction planning and obsessive about quality control—before and during installation.
What you’ll do
Manage and support multiple foremen/projects concurrently
Lead field quality systems: inspections, checklists, punch control, and rework prevention
Coordinate with PMs on schedule, manpower plans, material readiness, and risk
Hold foremen accountable to production, safety, and craftsmanship standards
Be the escalation point for jobsite issues and QC concerns
What We’re Looking For (All Levels)
Strong workmanship and pride in clean, correct installs
Reliable, punctual, professional communication on-site
Safety-minded and organized (protect finishes, plan ahead, minimize rework)
Ability to read plans and execute details accurately
Team-first attitude, accountability, no drama
Preferred Experience (Varies by Level)
Journeyman Glazier
Proven experience in commercial glazing (storefront/curtain wall/entrances)
Able to work independently, solve typical field issues, and maintain quality
Foreman
Experience leading crews and running jobsite workflow
Ability to plan daily/weekly execution and coordinate with GC + PM
Superintendent
Experience managing foremen and multiple projects
Strong preconstruction planning mindset and quality control leadership
Able to identify risk early and drive consistent field execution
Pay, Schedule, and Benefits
Pay: Competitive, DOE (based on experience level and leadership responsibility)
Hours: 40–50/week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift (occasional weekends as needed)
Location: Southern California projects (based out of Escondido / San Diego County)
Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision, 401(k) with company contributions, PTO after probationary period, boot & hard hat allowance, additional standard benefits
Growth Opportunity
We promote from within and invest in people who want to lead. High performers can grow from Journeyman → Foreman → Superintendent based on capability, character, and results.
