Purchased in 1980? from the original Price Club on Morena Blvd. My Mother was one of the first 100 people to walk through the doors of this “new super store” in 1975. Now CostCo Wholesale in modern times. This rare Brother XL-1 electric typewriter includes the original box and inner foam packing. Two ink ribbon cartridges. Also, white erase cartridge. Lid with carry case handle. Measures overall 16” wide x 15” long x 6” tall to feet. Works great every year for important documents. Just for historical interest, Price Club’s shipment label is ‘stamped’ into cardboard box side. Power cord wrapped in attached storage container. Features the famous fast spinning and snapping Correct-O-Ball, which does the printing. The ink ribbons were purchased at a tiny gift shop in Pacific Beach on Garnet. See pictures.
