We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. Full and part time booth rent opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to express your creativity while helping clients achieve their desired looks. You will work in a vibrant environment that values innovation and professionalism. We are a small, cozy well established beach salon in pacific beach, with five stars reviews on yelp and google. We have easy free street parking out front. Client refreshments (including wine, beer, tea, coffee and water) are included. The environment carries a clean, positive, professional, yet laid back salon environment for clients to come and get pampered. We have 3 stylist stations, one private treatment room, and one owner helping to create an intimate setting for you to be your own boss and build your business. Contact for further inquiries or to come take a tour of the salon. We do get some referrals and walk-ins but you should have your own clientele.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends in hair styling and color theory.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalized consultations.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the salon workspace, tools, and equipment.
Manage your own scheduling and booking.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or barbering certification is required.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to stay current with trends and techniques.
