Looking for a chill but professional, tidy, roommate to share space in a 2bd/1ba 850 sq ft apartment with a friendly, neurodivergent nerdy person and two friendly ESA cats in North Park/UH/ Normal Heights. LGBTQ+ friendly, non smoker. Must be cool with cats, ACAB (All Cats Are Beautiful).

I work fully remote and sometimes stream or play music, am otherwise quiet and have a white noise machine to dampen sounds. Quiet, respectful bldg/neighborhood. Great access and walking distance to fun restaurants, bars, blocks from An’s Dry Cleaning and coffee shops. Walking distance to Trolley Barn Park and easy drive or bike ride to Balboa Park.
Move in date would be Nov 1 2025 (can be available sooner for the right fit). 7 months lease would be up end of May 2026. You would have larger of the two bedrooms (12x10.5ft) with a spacious closet. This can be furnished or unfurnished, depending on your situation. Will have some common space areas available to share for kitchen, bathroom etc.
W/D combo in unit, dishwasher in kitchen. No parking spot, or guest spots, but mostly ample street parking available. Overall apt storage space is fairly limited, so would prefer if you shared my kitchen items and welcome to use TV. Water/sewer/trash are part of base rent, internet and SDGE Billed separately. Internet is $30/mo and SDGE varies depending on peak KwH usage per month, avg half bill $60-80 dollars. Base rent is $1150. Total rent + avg utilities could look like $1200-1300/mo depending on energy costs. No central air, but do have a big ceiling fan in each room, additional tower fans, and two portable window AC units.
Must be able to pass Background/criminal/credit check, verified proof of income, make 2.5x the rent gross income per month. Security deposit is one month’s rent.
