1) Private bedroom with shared bathroom is available for move-in on December.
2) The bedroom rents for $950 per month with all utilities included. Rent will NOT be raised as long as tenant stays here continuously, as per the rental agreement.
3) This room has a canyon view and is located in my home, a single story 3-bedroom house in a quiet residential community in North Clairemont, on Jennifer Street.
4) Rental agreements are month-to-month.
5) No pets please.
The Canyon bedroom has a shared bathroom (with one other person) in the hall, a canyon view, and is available for $950 per month. Bedroom is fully furnished with one queen-size bed, a dresser, and a study table. Bed and bath linens are provided, as well as blankets and comforters. Paper products (toilet paper and paper towels) for the bathrooms are also included.
House is located on a canyon with lots of birds (and other wildlife) on a quiet back street in North Clairemont. Bus stops and Clairemont Square Shopping Center are a 10-minute walk away. Transit times to campus are 15 minutes by car, and 30 minutes by MTS #41 bus (including walking time).
There is plenty on-street parking. House has a locked courtyard protecting front door. Street light is located in front of the house.
Amenities include WI-FI service from AT&T with 50 MPS download speed, as well as Culligan drinking water. All utilities are included in the rent, as are use of the laundry facilities, laundry soap, and kitchen, dining and living room privileges. It is highly recommended that students bring a small refrigerator or refrigerator/freezer for their rooms, as space in the kitchen refrigerator is very limited.
I am a retired chemist and software engineer who graduated from UC Berkeley. The other permanent house resident is my Labrador mix dog who loves people.
Rental agreements are on a month-to-month basis with a two-way 30-day advance notice provision. A $450 refundable security and cleaning deposit is required to hold the room until tenant moves in.
