Up for rent is one bedroom in a beautiful neighborhood in PB close to the beach.
I'm looking for the right housemate (clean, considerate) to rent this peaceful bedroom in a 2b/1ba house. The room is unfurnished in a furnished Pacific Beach house a couple blocks from the beach on Emerald St. It opens up at the end of this month (November 1st move-in).
The rent is $1400 + utilities. The house is in a nice neighborhood, has three off-street parking spots shared with a few neighbors, plenty of street parking, a dishwasher, sink disposal, high speed WiFi, and a w/d on site. We have outside storage space, a clothes line for drying wetsuits, etc., a courtyard with regular hummingbirds, and some citrus trees with tons of oranges fruiting every few months. It's a really lovely spot, especially perfect for someone who loves being close to the ocean. Ideal housemate qualities:
Healthy lifestyle, moderate to minimal substance use (please keep the party out of the house), good vibes, dog-lover. You can bring a dog if you have ESA documentation and they’re well-trained! My pup is the quietest, sweetest girl you'll ever meet :)

About me:
After living in Maui for the better part of my 20's I moved to San Diego to start grad school in a Marriage and Family Therapy program downtown. I graduated from that program about a year ago and am practicing now as a psychotherapist & coach. I grew up in Oregon and went to college in LA. I'm clean, considerate, communicative, and stay pretty active during the day and pretty quiet at night, especially ~9pm-9am. Some of my passions: surfing, acro yoga, brazilian jiu jitsu, playing my ukulele, dogs. I’m also a licensed massage therapist, certified personal trainer and lifecoach, and have consulted in digital marketing for tech startups for the last decade.
