This is a genuine BMW Group OEM ignition switch from a 2002 BMW 540iT (E39), part number 61 32 6 901 962. According to realoem.com, part #61326901962 is also used on the following vehicles:

It is used, but in perfect working condition. I'd spilled a gallon of water in the back of my '02 540i wagon, and although I'd soaked it all up and thought that my electrical issues were unrelated, it was wreaking havoc on the electrical system. Research indicated that many of the symptoms were similar to those for a bad ignition switch, so I bought a new one locally for about $100 and installed it. However, nothing changed, as the problem was unrelated and this original switch was working perfectly.

I'll likely match or beat a lower price, but please no low-ball offers.
