We own a home North Park with an unused single car garage. We have decided to rent the garage.
The garage measures 16'4" deep X 10'4" wide (+/- 168 square feet). The ceiling joists are 8'5" off the floor. The garage was re-built three years ago and is in great condition.
The garage has no windows or man door. The only way in and out of the garage is via the electric garage door opener.
That is by design. It enhances security. We have remotes which link to the operator and a key pad mounted on the side of the garage. Either provides access.
Disclosures and conditions...
You may access via foot at all times. We ask that it not be done after dark, unless you require emergency access. Because the driveway is used for tenant off street parking, especially after work hours, automobile access to the garage door 24 hours a day - 7 days a week - 365 days a year is not realistic.
We have included language in the lease with our house tenants, which requires them to move their vehicles within 24 hours of being noticed should you require vehicular access. They are cooperative.
The usual items are prohibited--explosives, contraband, solvents, guns, ammunition and so on. The typical stuff. You cannot operate a business out of the garage.
Before meeting we need know what you propose to store there. If we are confident this is a "fit" I will disclose the property address and be happy to meet you for a site visit.
You may text, email or call. Thank you for reading this too lengthy essay--we just wanted to be clear as to the opportunity.
Thank you or your interest.
