Candidate will negotiate and settle property damage claims on behalf of mortgages lenders and/or consumers.
Negotiate and settle property damage claims within specific established timelines
Review and analyze insurance policies to determine coverage
Investigate validity of insurance claims, assess insurance damage, inspect and meet with insurance carriers as required, and track Statute of Limitations
Manage assigned caseload timely and within company guidelines
Evaluate damage estimates from insurance carriers to determine if the settlement amount is reasonable, challenge insurance carrier's denials, and prepare damage estimates in Xactimate
Attend company meetings, perform special projects, adhere to additional employee responsibilities as outline in the Policy, meet performance standards and goals, and successfully complete all required company evaluations and E-Learning.
High school diploma
Public Adjuster licenses
One year real estate experience
Insurance claims handling experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Basic hardware, software, and internet knowledge
Organized and flexible, ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to work independently and remotely
Intermediate experience level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
