Please note Im not an experienced musician at all in the realm of music creation. Im just a guitarrist, knows-a-few piano songs guy, who tried to enter into sound/music creation.
Back during the pandemic I bought things like if it would last forever and I would have infinite time, both really wrong thought processes.
This keyboard feels like your own local studio since you can plug-in headphones, but its also designed as a live performance instrument, containing 2 stereo outputs, one assignable to internal channel stages.
Unique features:
- 5GB of AWM2 Yamaha generated presets: Piano samples, strings, you name it.
- Modern-music effects, including Beat Repeat, Vinyl Break, Bit Crusher, and Analog Delay.
- Experimental new Motion Control System, This amazingly powerful feature dramatically and dynamically alters the sounds of the instrument in new, never-heard-before ways, changing texturally, rhythmically with the beats, providing cool, colorful lighting effects, and responding expressively to your creative passion.
- Super Knob, the central component for the Motion Control System as well as for other expression.
- A/D input, allows you to connect a digital device, or an analog live-level or mic-level device that the Montage then will mix with your performance and can add effects or use one signal to control the other (e.g. voice tuning via keyboard, modulation, etc).

- Foot pedal. Please note this foot pedal does not do "sustain" by default and I realized there is a whole system of foot pedal configurations and so I don't know if it can actually work any way you want.
