Handcrafted in the USA and made from domestically sourced hardwoods, these beautifully fashioned instruments bring to you all of the sound quality and precise control required by professional stage performers.
The Performer Series Box Shakers are voiced from high-to-low tones. There is also a corresponding and dramatic increase in volume as you move from high to low. Why? Our smallest (2.5") Pixie Shaker provides a much sought after high-pitched "shoosh" sound and is ideal when mic'd on stage or played naturally in an acoustic setting. The four-inch Alto can be heard, without a microphone in a large ensemble and, through a phenomenon known as "phase cancellation", will sound like an amplified version of the Pixie.
The power of these instruments is immense, but so is the craftsmanship and beauty of the final product. NAL Performer Series instruments sound great, are responsive to performer control and are made to our highest manufacturing standards.
These shakers are meant to be lifetime friends and serve you for many, many years. Each individual box shaker sells for about $100 each. Buying a set of 4 lowers the price to $346.99. This powerful set provides you with the Walnut Pixie, Piccolo, Soprano and Alto Boxes for the ultimate Box Shaker experience. Each instrument has over thirty different tonal and rhythmic possibilities. Playing two shakers at once will give you at least one hundred tonal and rhythmic options.

Long regarded as America's premium hardwood, Walnut is known for its durability and strength.
Walnut has pale brown to a dark brown coloration with darker brown to blackish streaks. Its figuring is very appealing.
For instruments, Walnut generates a tone that is very warm and full sounding. It is an ideal instrument if you want it to "round out" your ensemble.
Next is a set of 7 Stick Shakers This "über set" of sticks combines the Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone sticks with the smallest three shakers in the highest registers. With the Piccolo, Pixie and Poodle. you'll be prepared for just about any shaker percussion requirement.
The Poodle is approx. 2 inches long, the Pixie is approx. 4 inches long, the Piccolo is approx. 6 inches long, the Soprano is approx. 8 inches long, the Alto is approx. 10 inches long, the Tenor is approx. 12 inches long, and the Baritone is approx 14 inches long. All Sticks are made of Walnut. They sell sets made of Ash for $322.99. Sets of Walnut are not even available anymore and originally were sold for $599.99.
Both sets come in a custom briefcase to protect them from the elements and also come with a jar of bees wax to polish the wood. The entire set sells for $999.99
