I'm a Woodwind Player, Teacher and Repair Technician. I just finished servicing this lovely 1978 Gemeinhardt M2 Flute made in Elkhart, Indiana and is now in remarkable condition. It appears to have been hermetically sealed in a temperature controlled environment for a long period of time. The Gemeinhardt name is still around but beware these are cheap Chinese knockoffs. When this Flute was new it sold for approximately the same price as a comparable Yamaha that is today the YFL-222 that sells for the deeply discounted online price of $1015. +tax. Mine is only $349.
