I'm a Woodwind Player, Teacher and repair technician. I just finished restoring this fine instrument to her original glory. Made in 1963 of resin in Elkhart, Indiana and comes with a one year guarantee. Conn is no longer in business, but when it was new it sold for approximately the same as a comparable Yamaha, today that is the YCL-255 that is currently selling online for the deeply discounted price of $1198.+tax and shipping. Mine is only $349. Thanks
