This carrier has been solid but I drive a lot on forest roads and need one with a bit more clearance. This one tends to drag through dips.
Disclosure: This carrier has some damage. The frame of the tray has cracked and separated in a few places which reduces the rigidity of the tray. As a result my dual sport would sway side to side while driving. I believe this can be corrected with some reinforcing and repair via welding. I'd probably weld all along the seam of the tray as well. If you have a welder or a friend who does (I do not) this should be an easy fix. Sold as-is.
