Norton Motorcycle Projects - $4,000 (San Diego)

For Sale: 2 vintage Norton motorcycles. Both are the Commando models and I'm not sure about the engine sizes. From the VIN numbers, I think the Black bike is a 1967 model and the Blue one is a 1974. I know very little about these motorcycles but they appear to be in fair condition and ready for restoration. One is fairly complete and I think it is a 1974 model and the other one has a magneto ignition which might be a racing item. There have been some modifications to it's chassis. Both bikes have good compression and the modified one will kick back when a bit of starter fluid is sprayed into the carb. I haven't tried to fire off the other one. I'm not a Norton expert and these are not what I prefer to work on so I'm selling them as a package deal to move them along and clear up some space. If you don't have experience with these British motorcycles then you might not want to get involved with a project such as this. I'm selling both Nortons for a total of $4000. Sold with Bill of Sales as parts bikes. I'm located 5 miles East of downtown San Diego.
