Summary: The purpose of the Graphic Design Intern is to provide assistance to Atlas' Marketing & Communication Department. This opportunity is for someone seeking to work 20-28 hours per week. However, we can be flexible with scheduling. This role is expected to bring a strong graphic design skillset with practical web development abilities that will supplement your current education goals. You will work closely with our product marketers and other internal stakeholders to bring life to our brand, product information and collateral and other website content via your designs and the code you write. You must be able to create a design and code it.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Execute marketing projects as assigned by Director of Marketing & Corporate Communications and Digital Marketing Specialist
- Create print-ready marketing materials
- Produce print materials, translating existing designs into multiple sizes and templates
- Modify and collect design files for various marketing materials, including posters, fliers, ads, postcards, brochures, and email blasts, etc
- Review supplied assets, evaluate, and understand/clarify content details (e.g. images, copy, legal, size specifications, etc.)
- Implement copy and visual changes as requested by marketing team and internal departments
- Execute edit requests received after routing
- Maintain organization of production server
- Prepare and release mechanical files
- Search for photography
- Develop eblast design templates

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must be currently working towards a B.A. Degree in Graphic Design or Fine Art
Proficiency with industry standard design tools for Mac & PC platforms: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
- Ability to work on both PC and Mac computers
- Working knowledge of HTML and coding
- JavaScript-based Application Development (jQuery, jQuery-UI, etc.)
- MV Framework (AngularJS, AngularJS2, ReactJs, BackBone.js, Ember.js, etc.)
- Templating Framework (Bootstrap, Foundation, Semantic UI, Materialize, etc..)
- HTML5 / CSS3 (including mobile-responsive CSS, media queries)
- Working knowledge of Wordpress
- Must have immediate availability
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to translate existing creative into multiple formats and follow corporate style guidelines
- Demonstrate initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Artistic and creative skills, specifically with regards to the creation of digital content
- Expertise with social media platforms
- Positive and professional

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience with Outlook
- Experience with marketing automation (specifically Hubspot)
- Experience with SalesForce
- CSS pre-processors such as LESS and SASS
- Templating engine (Mustache, handlebar, etc.)
- Cross-platform/browser development and testing
- Experience with agile software development processes and tools
- Experience with mobile development (web-based, responsive applications)
- Typescript, Moustache,
- Git
