2005 Honda ST 1300, red, mostly highway 41,000 miles, new tires, grips, garage kept it's whole life, regularly maintained with maintenance records. It's shaft drive, with variable suspension and windscreen, Throttlemeister bar ends (OEM included), aftermarket electric plug, and lockable, removable saddlebags with matching Honda interior bags.
Some minor blemishes on paint, but heads still turn when this red Akira looking motorcycle rides by. Tailpipes were replaced in 2012-2013, and the motorcycle looks and runs great.
Was ridden on many long distance trips to Glacier National Park, Yosemite, and Kings Canyon, and across country and back in 2005. Since 2020, it was ridden to Yosemite once, but mostly short rides up the Pacific Coast Highway, and country rides to Julian.
It’s a stable, comfortable, easy to ride big motorcycle that can handle like a sport bike- tighten the suspension, lower the windscreen, and it can run with anything on the road. On long distance trips, I've ridden this bike over 100mph for over an hour, passing groups of Harley riders stuck at 80mph. With the variable windscreen, this bike has great weather protection. In Europe, this was the standard police issue motorcycle, called the Pan European.
New tires and grips were purchased last year for a trip never taken. Comes with spare parts, OEM clips and fasteners, and a host of maintenance supplies. Can let go with lightly worn boots, gloves, helmet, jacket, weather pants, etc.
Will negotiate in person. Test rides only with money in hand, M1 motorcycle license, and proof of insurance.
