1971 HONDA CT70H 4-SPEED MANUAL MINI TRAIL 1190 ORIGINAL MILES
This is being sold by my 83 year old father who can no longer enjoy this little treasure! He has owned it for 17 years, believed to be purchased from the original owners family that transferred from the uncle to the nephew. It was serviced June 2025 to replace oil, filter, fuel, tank cleaned, carburetor cleaned as well as other service items completed. He is also selling his 1974 Honda CT70 which received same/similar services in June 2025 as well as a 1993 Honda CT70 with only 504 miles (see other listings). I do have a Joe Hauler motorcycle carrier that is available for purchase as well.
Recent sales on Bring A Trailer have this same year Honda that have undergone restoration selling for over $10,000 (most recently $10,700). These 4-speed manual Honda CT70H models only continue to increase in value. If you would like additional photos or a cold start up video, please message me you cell number and I will send them to you. Asking $4000 or best offer.
This original 1971 Honda CT70H Mini Trail is in orange with black and white accents. It has the 72cc four-stroke single, which is paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The bike is equipped with 10″ three-piece wheels, drum brakes, chrome fenders, twist-locking folding handlebars, an inverted fork, dual rear shocks, a rear cargo rack, a side stand, and a black seat. This CT70 Trail was purchased from the previous seller’s family in 2008 and is now offered for sale with a clean Washington title.
This CT70H remains unmolested aside from a new seat cover (which really wasn’t necessary but replaced anyway). Some attention to the chrome and paint to remove common surface rust would make this collectible motorcycle even more special.
Suspension consists of an inverted fork with rubber gaiters as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm, and braking is handled by drums at both ends. It has silver 10” three-piece wheels.
Twist-locking folding handlebars frame a Nippon Seiki 50-mph speedometer that displays recommended shift points. The five-digit odometer shows 1190 original miles. The 72cc four-stroke transfers power to the rear wheel through a four-speed manual transmission and a drive chain.
