A little about me:
Born, raised and educated in California - I have been playing and teaching music there all my life and have only recently relocated. Professionally, I have been mentoring artists and teaching private music lessons to adults and kids since before I graduated. Apart from teaching I am a touring/recording musician with my own indie band. I have a Master's degree in music, and have played in many different styled bands on several different instruments. I also have produced albums and mentor developing artists all over the country.
Most importantly I've taught hundreds of students over the last 15 years to have fun and reach their goals with music!! Once we find a flow with our lessons, you will learn the skills to teach and further yourself toward becoming the musician you want to be
I specialize in songwriting, guitar, piano, drums, voice, banjo, bass, accordion, brass (trumpet, trombone) bowed strings (violin, viola, cello) mandolin, hand drums, percussion (marimba, snare drum, hand percussion, timpani etc.) as well as a variety of world instruments. I teach all styles from pop, rock, alternative, jazz, classical and whatever else my students are inspired by.

I only teach online through zoom. Please don't inquire about in-person lessons because I will just have to disappoint you by telling you that I tour and travel for recording projects quite often and can only provide the consistency necessary to learn music through zoom lessons. Through years of experience, I provide the necessary inspiration and resources for students to have a well-rounded education. Being a professional producer, composer and long time teacher of musicians of all levels I create personalized lessons that include the following:
-Adapted versions of your favorite songs to fit your level
-Personalized technique exercises and regiments
-Theory and Musicianship courses to supplement performance
-Custom mp3 play along tracks, jam tracks, and technique tracks for you to play along with so you can learn to play steady, in tune and confidently.
