The Watkins Firm, APC, a business and real estate law firm, is hiring a self-motivated, experienced full time paralegal/legal assistant.

Summary of position:
Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of motions, correspondence and discovery. Draft legal documents for review by attorneys. Perform some legal research as needed. Assist with case budgets, workflow projections, and general attorney organization.

Required skills & knowledge:
The ideal candidate must be able to manage complex tasks efficiently; prioritize work load in extremely time-sensitive field of law; meet strict deadlines; be extremely detail oriented and have the ability to edit carefully; provide outstanding client service; flexible and adaptable to fast-paced environment; organized; self-motivated with strong initiative; have a positive attitude; have a professional demeanor. Knowledge required: proficiency with Lexis, Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficiency with Practice Management software is not a requirement but a plus. Must have excellent written communication skills.
Requirements: Paralegal certificate and at least 3 years of litigation experience required. Bachelor Degree.
