Busy Family Law firm in the Sorrento Valley area is seeking an enthusiastic, conscientious, and hardworking file clerk / administrative clerk.  The ideal candidate would be a law student. Please refer to the position responsibilities and requirements below. 

Position Responsibilities:

Assist with document management, file organization, and e-filing documents.
Possible screening of potential new client callers.
Assist with filing court documents daily and assembling the required amount of copies. 
Responsible for preparation of new client files.
Assist attorneys and staff with daily administrative tasks.
Greet client and guests in a professional manner.
Replenish work stations with supplies and printers with paper
Assist with daily incoming and outgoing mail.
Scanning and copying documents.
Assist with document management and physical file organization.
Maintain professional office appearance and conduct in a professional manner.


Ideal for a law student.
Previous law firm or office experience preferred. 
High proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat. 
Must be a self-starter who is well organized and can handle multiple tasks with the ability to prioritize work.
Ability to operate standard office equipment such as a computer, photocopier, postage machine, and scanner. 
Ability to work in a fast-pace environment while paying close attention to detail.
Professional appearance and demeanor. 
Driver's license preferred and have use of a vehicle, with proof of insurance.
