We are seeking a seasoned California-licensed attorney or elite legal writer to assist on a high-stakes wrongful death case involving complex medical and corporate negligence issues. This role is suited for a litigator-level writer who can think strategically, write persuasively, and handle assignments with minimal supervision.
You will work directly with the lead attorney on the case and contribute to filings that will be read and evaluated by both the court and opposing counsel at major firms. Precision, depth, and legal reasoning must meet the highest professional standards.
Qualified candidates must have demonstrated experience with:
Drafting and arguing demurrers, motions to strike, motions for summary judgment, and oppositions
Preparing discovery requests, responses, and meet-and-confer correspondence
Conducting advanced legal research and integrating statutory, case law, and factual analysis
Drafting complaints, answers, and trial briefs suitable for complex civil litigation
Preferred Experience:
Background in wrongful death, medical negligence, or pharmaceutical cases
Prior work supporting civil litigation or plaintiff-side practice
Familiarity with California Code of Civil Procedure and California Rules of Court
