Bilingual Paralegal (English/Spanish) (San Diego)

San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, Inc. (SDVLP) is recruiting a full-time paralegal with strong organizational, technological, and administrative skills to support our new civil legal self-help program, located downtown at the San Diego Law Library.

The minimum job qualifications include a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved school, proficient bilingual (Spanish) oral and written communication abilities, and a minimum of one year of experience working as a paralegal in a California civil litigation law firm. The successful candidate must have excellent computer skills and demonstrated competence in MS Office Suite, Essential Forms, and case management or similar database systems. The successful candidate will also understand and support the objectives and purposes of public interest law, and possess prior experience relating to the low-income and disadvantaged populations who are served by our organization.

The compensation range is $22 - $24 per hour, DOE. Fringe benefits include paid time off and holidays; accrued sick leave; medical, dental, and vision benefits; a 401(k) retirement plan; and assistance with public transportation costs.
