Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, repairing, and replacing glass in a commercial setting. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure, cut, install, and replace glass in windows, doors, storefronts, curtain walls, and other structures
• Install aluminum framing systems and hardware
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
• Handle glass safely and efficiently, including heavy and oversized panels
• Perform job site preparation and cleanup
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients
Requirements:
• Journeyman-level experience in glazing (typically 3–5+ years)
• Strong knowledge of glass types, tools, and installation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights when required
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with commercial storefront and curtain wall systems
• OSHA certification or safety training
• Ability to operate lifts and other job site equipment
