Collision Fix is a trusted auto body and mechanic shop located in the heart of Pacific Beach, San Diego. We’re known for quality work and great customer service — and we’re currently looking for a full-time Auto Detailer who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with our team.
Job Summary
We’re hiring a skilled Auto Detailer whose main role will be cleaning and detailing vehicles inside and out to a high standard. This role also includes supporting the team by helping check cars in and out, transporting vehicles, scanning vehicles, and keeping the shop clean and organized. MUST KNOW HOW TO COLOR SAND AND POLISH
Primary Responsibilities – Auto Detailing
Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles (interior and exterior)
Wash, wax, vacuum, and polish vehicles to shop standards
Ensure vehicles are spotless before client delivery
Use detailing tools and cleaning products safely and effectively
Inspect vehicles before and after detailing for quality control
Secondary Responsibilities – Shop Support
Drive vehicles for pick-up and delivery (must have clean driving record)
Check vehicles in and out (take photos, tag keys, record info)
Keep the shop clean and organized (sweeping, trash, supplies, etc.)
Learn to scan vehicles using shop tools (we’ll train you)
Help with parts pickup and small errands as needed
Be client-facing when delivering or picking up vehicles — professionalism is a must
What We’re Looking For
Detailing experience required
Clean driving record (required for vehicle transport)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (required)
Must be available to work Saturdays (required)
Strong work ethic: reliable, on time, drama-free
Presentable and well-spoken (you’ll interact with customers)
Fast learner with a proactive, go-getter mindset
Able to lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet during shift
Previous experience in auto shops is a plus but not required
Schedule
Full-time, Saturdays required
Pay
$18.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
