About the Role
We are seeking a skilled, reliable Ranch Foreman to oversee daily operations and lead property maintenance projects at our growing equestrian facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience operating large equipment and managing construction-level ranch projects, from arena maintenance to fencing and infrastructure improvements.
This is an active, working foreman role. You will be hands-on in the field, not behind a desk.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain tractors, backhoes, skid steers, and other ranch equipment
Water, drag, and maintain riding arenas to ensure proper footing
Lead and assist with construction and improvement projects, including:
Fence line builds and repairs
Stall installations and conversions
Trenching, water lines, and irrigation systems
Grounds improvements and drainage projects
Coordinate supply runs, materials, and contractor support as needed
Maintain safety standards and quality control across the property
Perform light mechanical and repair work (gates, tools, small engines, etc.)
Qualifications:
Proven experience working on a ranch, farm, or agricultural facility
Strong background operating heavy equipment (tractor, skid steer, backhoe, etc.)
Working knowledge of irrigation, plumbing, fencing, and basic construction
Comfortable leading a small team and coordinating with contractors
Self-motivated, dependable, and physically capable of outdoor labor
Valid driver’s license required; CDL a plus
Bonus If You Have:
Experience working around horses (not required, but a plus)
Ability to assist with general ranch operations and animal care as needed
Welding or electrical experience
