Position Summary:
Do you enjoy working outdoors with your hands? Love being around nature and keeping things looking their best? We’re looking for a Greenskeeper to help maintain our beautiful golf course and surrounding grounds in top playing condition. If you're reliable, hard-working, and enjoy physical work, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
Golf Course Maintenance:
Mow, trim, edge, and blow grass and turf areas
Weed, rake sand traps, and install sod
Plant and care for trees, shrubs, and flowers
Turf Treatment & Landscape Care:
Apply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and lime as needed
Perform weed and pest control
Irrigate turf using hoses and sprinkler systems
Till, cultivate, and grade turf for new plantings
Daily Course Setup:
Change cups and tee markers
Refresh tee towels and clean ball washers
Remove trash and debris to keep the course clean and presentable
Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
Safely operate utility vehicles, tractors, and power equipment
Follow manufacturer’s instructions and safety standards for all machinery
General Groundskeeping:
Prepare new greens and repair roadbeds
Trim and spray trees and shrubs
Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
💪 Physical Demands:
Able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and crouch frequently throughout the day
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a variety of outdoor weather conditions including:
Heat, cold, humidity, and rain
Occasional encounters with wildlife (e.g., bees, snakes, scorpions, spiders)
✅ Qualifications:
Knowledge of golf course layout or the game of golf is helpful, but not required
Must be able to operate trucks and motorized landscaping/golf course equipment
Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols at all times
Physical ability to handle labor-intensive tasks on a daily basis

📋 Resumen del Puesto:
Encargado(a) de mantener el campo de golf y los terrenos aledaños en condiciones óptimas y jugables en todo momento.
🛠️ Responsabilidades Principales:
⚙️ Realizar mantenimiento general del campo:
Cortar el césped con herramientas manuales o eléctricas
Recortar bordes y eliminar maleza
Instalar césped nuevo
Plantar árboles, arbustos y flores
Rastrillar trampas de arena
Preparar el campo diariamente
🌿 Aplicar tratamientos y productos químicos:
Control de maleza y plagas
Fertilización y aplicación de pesticidas/fungicidas
Mantenimiento del sistema de riego
Reparación de drenaje y cultivo del terreno
🕳️ Mantenimiento de hoyos y áreas comunes:
Cambiar hoyos y marcadores de salida
Reemplazar toallas de tee
Vaciar botes de basura
Limpiar y mantener los lavabolas
🚜 Operación de maquinaria y vehículos:
Utilizar tractores y otros vehículos utilitarios
Manejar cortadoras para greens, tees y fairways
Seguir las normas de seguridad de la empresa y del fabricante
🌳 Trabajo de jardinería general:
Podar y rociar árboles y arbustos
Preparar nuevos greens y nivelar terrenos
Conectar sistemas de riego manuales o automáticos
⚠️ Cumplir con todas las normas de seguridad establecidas
💪 Requisitos Físicos:
Capacidad para:
Sentarse, estar de pie, agacharse, arrodillarse, caminar y agacharse con frecuencia
Levantar hasta 50 libras (23 kg)
Levantar objetos por encima de la cabeza y empujar/halar objetos más ligeros
Exposición a:
Condiciones húmedas o mojadas
Clima extremo (frío o calor)
Fauna silvestre ocasional (serpientes, escorpiones, arañas, abejas, avispas)
✅ Calificaciones Deseadas:
Conocimientos básicos del juego de golf (deseable)
Habilidad para trabajar de forma independiente
Experiencia en el uso de camiones y equipos motorizados
Capacidad para levantar/mover objetos de hasta 50 libras frecuentemente
