Vacheron & Constantin solid Platinum Pop Open Watch 1930s the watch measures 45mm in length 30mm in height 7mm width, when open measures 23mm It has two black enameled push pieces on either end which when pushed opens the two doors and with a twist flick of the wrist the dial pops out. The movement is signed Vacheron & Constantin has 15 jewels and is adjusted to 5 positions the serial number of the movement 412425 dates this to the early 1930s The watch watch works and keeps time. The platinum case does have scratches and is signed Verger the case maker for Vacheron & Constantin and has the case number 12224 on the inside case and back. Watch weighs 54.4 grms. The winding crown is not original looks like a replacement, there is an empty screw hole on the edge of the case, dial has defects unsure if it has been refinished, minute hand has corrosion, hour hand good. There is no box or papers for this watch. Would consider a trade for Rolex watches in any condition. I am a watch repairer and am happy to repair any watch that needs attention.
