I’m looking for a 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment in Mission Hills, Bankers Hill, Hillcrest, University Heights, North Park, Golden Hill, South Park, Middletown, Old Town, or nearby central San Diego neighborhoods. My budget is around $2,200–$2,500 per month.
A little about me: I’m a working professional in my early 50s, currently living in Downtown San Diego and employed full-time downtown. I’m quiet, respectful, responsible, and looking for a clean, stable place to call home. I have a 6-year-old Labrador who is house-trained, well-behaved, and very friendly.
I did fall on some hard times and am currently rebuilding my credit, but I have steady income, no evictions, can provide references, and am happy to discuss my situation openly with the right landlord or property owner. A private landlord would be ideal, but I’m open to any dog-friendly rental that may be a good fit.
Ideally, I’m looking for a well-maintained place within reasonable distance to downtown San Diego.
