An empty Flame King generic tank at HomeDepot is $59, save $49 over a new tank.
Take one of these to HomeDepot, pay $20 and swap it for a filled tank. $30 total. ALL tank swapping kiosks are fine with any tank, even expired tanks because they do a huge enough business it pays them to re-certify them.
I can also tell you where to get the cheapest refills without swapping. I used to take 5 or 6 in at a time, if a tank was expired then I'd swap at HomeDepot or any other swapping place for a newly certified tank.
