Up for sale is an antique 1940's vintage cast iron round base stand. Originally this stand was from a piece of scientific equipment. It was repurposed into a pot stand for some time. It could be used to hold up any sort of furniture or round/cylindrical thing.
It measures just over 31" across on the inner lip where a pot or flat plate would sit. There are 3 bolted on legs, each of which has a threaded hole for a leveling foot. Currently there are just standard bolts installed as leveling feet but you could easily swap them for rubber or plastic screw out leveling feet to protect the floor. You could also simply remove the bolts and put felt pads under the three feet.
The 3 legs themselves are about 4" tall. The stand is 4" tall as well.
The stand is currently painted blue. A bit of work with a wire wheel, paint stripper, or a sandblaster would take that right off and it could be repainted any color you want.
It's very heavy!
I'm asking $175 OBO for this antique stand.
