40 years around the sun and still going green! My name is David I am a 3rd generation San Diegan gardener with experience on the coast, inland, mountains and desert areas. I have been working with plants since I was a little boy; being part of a large family of tree climbers, and gardeners. I am now working to make a name for myself in the permaculture, urban farming, Gardening, landscaping and tree care world.
I bring a practical and simple approach to getting landscapes controlled and looking great. I strive to make something look more complex and beautiful while being simple and controlled when maintained. I do this by dialing in gardens and taking a preventive care approach; understanding plants in their environment so they can depend less on us and thrive!
You will find me to be extremely passionate about my work, I'm competitive and enjoy a good challenge. Very confident in my knowledge, experience, and trade. I set the bar high, by getting things done simply, affordable, and practical while putting on a show... striving to have your place show-ready

My passions: BEYOND Organic gardening; custom soil preparation for all types of plants, especially health benefiting and edible ones. I am an artist with succulents, I design and do arrangements for indoors/out. Sharing my views on our current standards in organic growing, certified tree trimming and gardening maintenance on how we can go beyond and do more.
I am an Arborist who leads on practical pruning, diagnosing, treatment and care of all types of palms, trees, and shrubs as needed. I don't just make trees pretty. I provide the important shaping and balance needed considering the location, something I repeatedly see missed by some of the best "tree management teams" out there.
Networking with pest-control, tree service professionals that are licensed, certified, insured, and follow a ca osha safety standard on all sites.
I update myself on products and their labeling for all synthetic products. Always looking for new improvements to my current ALTERNATIVE homemade recipes for pesticides, herbicides, microbial teas, root stimulators, rodent repellents, enzymes, hormones.. ...
Growing mushrooms, my hot pepper, hops, my permaculture project's and local seed bank outreach/awareness projects occupy my free time along with making living art when I can.
Composting is another favorite. from fungi dominant, bacteria dominant, blends, Bokashi...
My Objective is to keep making gardening more simple for us so we can grow more food and create art/fun while doing just that. I am starting a club for gardeners and growers that share the same goals to help one another improve our services and gardening ways. Attentive to seasonal changes and I am all about being up to date on weather, following your closest weather station observing/tracking your local weather spikes, data collection of your plants seasonally to be ready for improvements in feeding/ timing, bloom/fruit production, and trimming next season. irrigation correction, retention, and distribution. I don't bring all the tools to the site I bring what I need for that visit.
My plant care programs I offer are beyond the standard, the future is here and now. Promoting and providing solutions to many problems I see throughout the world one garden at a time. "
