We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Line/Prep Cook to join our team at Rovino, a modern Italian restaurant bringing the flavors of Italy and Sicily to Little Italy. Our kitchen is fast-paced, passionate, and committed to quality.
About the Role:
• Prep fresh ingredients for daily service, including pastas, proteins, sauces, and vegetables
• Execute dishes during service with attention to taste, portioning, and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work station in compliance with health standards
• Assist with kitchen closing duties and inventory as needed
What We’re Looking For:
• 1+ year experience in a professional kitchen preferred (Italian cuisine a plus)
• Knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
• Ability to follow recipes, prep lists, and direction from the chef
• Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
• Must be available nights and weekends
