Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly, warmly, and courteously as they enter the restaurant.
Manage reservations and walk-in guests using the restaurant’s seating system.
Escort guests to tables and present menus.
Communicate wait times clearly and manage guest expectations.
Maintain an organized and clean host stand and entrance area.
Coordinate seating with servers and managers to ensure balanced table assignments.
Answer phones, take reservations, and provide accurate information about the restaurant.
Assist with takeout orders, guest inquiries, or other front-of-house tasks as needed.
Support the team by helping with guest needs and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, friendly, and outgoing demeanor.
Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure.
Basic computer or POS system skills.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
