VanMan's is redefining fast casual dining by bringing chef-level quality to the American classic: burgers and fries. We are looking for a highly skilled cook with Michelin-star kitchen experience to help us set the bar for excellence.
Position: Head Chef (Full Time)
Compensation: $35 – $40/ hr. (DOE) + overtime opportunities
Responsibilities:
Execute menu items to perfection, ensuring quality and consistency.
Uphold Michelin-level standards of cleanliness, organization, and technique.
Assist in menu execution, prep, and kitchen systems.
Maintain proper food safety, handling, and storage practices.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Contribute creativity and expertise to elevate the guest experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Michelin-starred kitchens or equivalent fine dining.
Strong grilling, frying, and mise en place skills.
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency
Possess a team-oriented mindset
Current California Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain before hire).
