Dirty Birds: Very busy counter service restaurant, specializing in chicken wings and pizza. Looking to hire PM shifts Monday through Friday, and mid shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
Shores Diner: 50's themed sit-down diner serving up classic diner foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Looking to hire mid and PM shifts M-F.
Things to know about these positions:
EMPLOYEES MUST PAY FOR THIER OWN PARKING. There is very good public transportation on the UCSD campus and the majority of our staff use it to avoid paying to park in the school owned lot. There is no free parking anywhere on campus so please take this into account before applying.
Shifts are somewhat seasonal at these locations. We are looking to hire for 5 shifts per week when school is in session (30-40 hrs a week). During school breaks (winter break, spring break, summer, etc) we either cut back on shifts or close the restaurant completely. These positions generally work best for people who are looking for a second job who aren't left completely without work during our closures. We try our best to staff our employees who go above and beyond at our UCSD stores, at one of our other locations around San Diego during the closures, availability permitting.
Pay is based on experience, plus we give weekly cash tips to our BOH employees (usually equaling anywhere form $2-$4 an hour on top of base pay.
Both of these jobs are very fast paced, but very fun working environments with great coworkers.
