We are looking for an ambitious manager to help run our dessert bar/café in La Jolla.
One year of front of house cafe or restaurant supervisory or management experience is required.
We will be implementing operational changes in the coming months, and we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is detail oriented, creative, and ambitious with strong leadership potential.
Compensation will be hourly plus tips, and there will be bonus opportunities tied to growth and cafe profitability.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Supervising a small staff
- Scheduling and Ordering
- Working with management and ownership team to identify opportunities for growth
- Implementing new systems and processes as we implement business shifts
- Taking orders and making recommendations
- Entering orders into POS
- Making beverages according to specifications
- Stocking and setting up all necessary products for daily execution
- Completing all assinged side work
- Maintianing a clean and sanitary work environment
- Executing daily checklist
- Working with management on orders for all needed products
- Taking inventory and filling out purchase orders
- Leading team during service
- Maintaining health standards
- Opening and Closing the cafe
