- Excellent AM/FM reception, even without an external antenna
- The audio sounds great through the line-level stereo outputs. Although this is a quadraphonic player in theory, the only way to get 4-channel output from this receiver would be through the internal amp and a dedicated set of four speakers. However, only 2 of the channels on the amp work, one of them pretty weakly. I suspect blown power transistors. The player will play a quad tape no problem, but you will only get stereo output. That is why I'm not advertising this as a quad player.
- Overall a nice-looking unit. Some damage to the left-hand side rear corners.
