This is kinda strange,
so pay attention.

this is a refurbished modem.
i used it for a couple of years,
was getting 300 Mbps regularly.

then everything went squirrely.
Spectrum could not figure out what the problem was,
so they gave me one of their modems.

the problems went away.

so i do not know if my Arris was dying,
or it was something on the Spectrum side that changed and did not like my Arris anymore.

i do not know if this Arris modem is fully functioning and i have no way of testing it.
