2001 Volkswagen Passat V6 Manual Transmission (5 Speed) 47,700 miles and counting (very slowly).
Vehicle Specs (when new):
- Engine: 2.8L V6, 190HP
- Transmission: 5-speed Manual.
- Front Wheel Drive
This Car:
- Has every single bell + whistle and everything works (every switch, every light, every sensor, every lock and latch).
- Everything is stock (except I added blueetooth receiver, that feeds into the original audio system).
- Spare is a full tire (no donut).
- Sunroof, fog lights, insanely high quality audio system.
Car & maintenance history:
- I'm the second owner: bought it to first owner in 2022 with 30K Miles.
- Carfax until purchase shows it was obsessively maintained.
- After purchase, I kept up:
- Changed Oil+Filter every ~6k Miles (Full Synthetic Oil, European Car Formula).
- Changed all Brake pads (Bosch Ceramic) and Rotors (Bosch) @ 38K Miles.
- Replaced Cabin filter @ 45K miles
- Replaced Front tires @ 43K miles
- I've been driving it for fun (because it is a pleasure to drive).
- Extremely reliable: have not had to do anything other than maintenance in the time I had it.
- Never smoked in, never an accident, (not even parking: never fixed/repainted bumpers, for instance).
- No cracks in any plastic, dashboard or such.
- Has minor dents + scratches (it's been around long enough).
Extras:
- I installed a bluetooth receiver that feeds into the original audio system.
- It came with an outdoor car cover.
- I have one or two oil filters (I buy those in bulk) that I will pass along.
FAQ:

- Any lights on the dashboard? None of the bad ones.
- Ever smoked in? No.
- AC works? Yep.
- Sunroof works? EVERYTHING WORKS.

- Is it reliable? Never had to do any work other than maintenance.
- So, did you do the oil changes yourself? Yep; I'm a bit of a scientist myself. I have amazon receipts of the oil and filters.
- Why so few miles? It was a grandpa car before I got it; I ride a motorcycle.
- Do you have a carfax? I have the carfax from when I bought it; happy to get an updated one.
- Why do you sell it? I got rich and I now I can afford something with ever more cylinders.
- Is the price firm? I'm ready to be reasonable if your first approach is reasonable.
- Do you trade? Do you have something manual with more cylinders and not too many miles?
- Can I send you a link to this report and my friend who is a nigerian prince will buy it to you for 15K if you give me your account number? Nice try.
