There is one (1) open recall on this model related to the ignition switch. I contacted the manufacturer and they opened a case to find a dealer with the equipment required to perform the work. So far the ignition switch has worked fine.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Paperwork is in a manila envelope.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The radio works fine, the sound is nice.
The UConnect bluetooth connection works well for phone calls.
Backup proximity sensors provide nearby object indication.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The navigation does not work. I discovered the unit is not compatible with the vehicle; previous owner may have replaced the original unit with this unit. I tried to find a compatible replacement and three strikes I'm out. Aftermarket radios have way more technology and are priced lower than a stock replacement. I leave the aftermarket radio upgrade to the purchaser of the vehicle as this can be a matter of preference. Alternatively, there is always your cell phone navigation.
