This week, Canyon State Classics brings to market a 2003 Honda Insight coupe in Monte Carlo Blue over gray and black cloth interior. This one-owner honda was purchased new in Ventura, CA where it spent its life being driven sparingly. This car features Honda's The 1.0L VTEC-E inline-three is equipped with Integrated Motor Assist hybrid technology, which added a brushless electric motor that also acts as a generator when the brakes are applied. Power is routed to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle. Our insight was recently inspected by a hybrid specialist and received a new IMA battery with a 1-year warranty. Cars like this don't come around often- this is your chance to own one of the nicest G1 insights on the market! The following is a list of options as this Civic SI is currently equipped: - 1.0L VTEC-C Inline 3cyl - 5 Speed Manual Transmission - New IMA Battery w Warranty - 14" Machine Faced Wheels w New Falken Tires - Rear Window Wiper - Aerodynamic Rear Wheel Skirts - Original Cassette Stereo - Full Power Options The Insight weighed just under 1,900 lbs. in stock form due to its aluminum structure and compact size. The rear track was 4.3″ narrower than the front, allowing for tapered bodywork with a drag coefficient of 0.25. This example is finished in Monte Carlo Blue, and exterior details include a rear window wiper, power-adjustable side mirrors, aerodynamic rear wheel skirts, and black plastic rear lower-body trim. This Honda was put through our detail department for a full buff and hand wax. The car is riding on a beautiful set of Honda 14" machine-faced alloys. They are all in nice original condition with zero curb rash of any kind. The top of the driver side door shows some very slight fade and can be seen in the photo gallery. The body shows a few small imperfections (chips, scratches etc) but overall looks great for the mileage! The black and gray interior is in very good condition for its age with absolutely no rips or tears. The Dash and steering wheel are also in nice shape with no wear or cracks to speak of. Everything in the car works great! Appointments include automatic climate control, a cassette stereo, and an aftermarket cargo area mat along with power windows and door locks.The rest of the interior is impressively original and un-damaged. Carpets are in excellent shape with no stains or burns. Always a non-smoker car. Mechanically this Insight is excellent shape! This car has been under the care of a Honda service department for most of it's life as the original stayed in the area for most of their subsequent time with the car. That's a true mark of a car that has been correctly looked after! Apart from routine maintenance, this insight was just in at a hybrid specialist for evaluation which resulted in the IMA battery and regular batteries being replaced! Everything works in the car.. lights, gauges, radio, seats, windows, locks, a/c blows ice cold, etc. This car is very clean under the hood and really shows how its previous owner took excellent care of it. The car just received a front to back inspection, oil service, and has been given a clean bill of health.
