Sharing my personal experience with a mobile mechanic named Sergei in the Point Loma / Hancock Street area. He operates from a private parking lot across from a local salon, drives a white Ford Ranger with a green camper, and has two aggressive dogs with him.

During my visit on August 11, 2025, we agreed on a repair price in advance, but he kept an extra $50 afterward and did not provide a receipt. While he worked, several individuals visited him, and there appeared to be drug activity in the area.

If you choose to hire him, make sure you:

Get the total in writing
Ask for a business license or ID
Request a receipt before paying
