Are you 60 or older and currently experiencing symptoms or a diagnosis of anxiety or depression?
Have you had recent thoughts of suicide?
You may be eligible to participate in a Mental Health & Aging Study at UC San Diego. The purpose of this research study is to further our knowledge about how individuals with mental health concerns think about their relationships and asking for help from others. For your participation, you could earn up to $445.
You may qualify if you:
• Are above the age of 60 years old.
• Recently experiencing thoughts that life is worth living.
• Located in the San Diego area
• Can provide informed consent and speak English proficiently.
Over the course of 12 months, participation includes:
• A recruiting & consenting call
• A remote screening visit
• (1) in-person screening visit
• 2 follow-up, remote visits
• 3 text message survey periods
• 3 check in phone calls
