This is an original Shreve & Company Clock from the 1930's era. It is made of solid brass and does show some patina and oxidation. The clock can easily be polished to look like super sparkling new. I didn't want to touch it and leave the decision to the new owner. The dial is in fantastic condition and gorgeous with the full Shreve & Co name and is labeled 8 Days and is Swiss made. The upper crystal/dial region measures 6in x 6in and the base measures 11.75in x 2.75in and sits very straight and solid on any desk or mantle. Please ignore dust or shadows which occur during photography.

I did examine the movement and the clock needs a new mainspring which should cost no more than $60 at a local watchmaker/clock store. This will need to be replaced before the clock runs but otherwise it's in great shape. If the new owner would like me to have the clock movement serviced before purchasing we can have this done locally with a $100 down payment. The Shreve & Co name is at the level of other famous retailers from the 1930's and very collectible. Please let me know if you are interested and I will work with you on the price and any other issues which might be of concern.
