This is an authentic, vintage, grass "hula" skirt from Hawaii, most likely purchased in the Islands during the 1960s or 1970s. It is in very good to excellent condition for its age. The grass is soft, and moves and flows beautifully. The waist measures 24 to 26 inches and ties with a thick, cotton string. The length of the skirt ranges from 28 to 30 inches. There are no attached labels. This is from the estate of family friends who lived all over the world, including the Central and South Pacific and the Far East. They collected lots of interesting stuff! I live near the middle of downtown Ocean Beach in a private residence that is easy to find. Thank you!
